Whether you need to hire a ute for an hour to take your new bulky purchase home, a day to help out with your gardening requirements, or if you need a commercial vehicle for a long term hire, Handy Rentals has a variety of hire options you can choose from.
The utility vehicle is a common sight on Australian roads and has been popular for many years owing to the flexibility that it offers drivers. The different accessories available make them ideal for shifting a wide variety of goods over short and long distances. Tradesmen such as plumbers and builders find these sturdy vehicles just the thing for transporting themselves and their tools to sites in cities and more remote areas too.
Our vehicles are conveniently located at a vast majority of Bunnings Warehouses, which means there should be one close to you – check out our locations page to find your closest.
All of our fleet are fitted with front and rear ladder racks, spanning just under 6 metres – allowing you to carry up to 8m lengths with a safety flag, however all overhead loads are limited to 150kg by road laws.
All our utes have drop side trays which makes it easy for loading and unloading. The tray size is 2.4m long x 1.8m wide. They also have power steering and air conditioned cabs to make it a comfortable drive for you
All our utes are fitted with tow bars, allowing you to tow a trailer – but don’t forget the maximum load for our vehicles is 1 Tonne. Unfortunately they are not able to tow horse floats, car trailers or furniture trailers.
Our fleet is maintained to high standards to ensure that they do not let you down, and with all vehicles less than 5 years old, you can be assured of reliability and durability.
Are you contemplating buying a ute but not sure if you will use it? At our prices, hiring a ute is a great way to discover all the advantages that such a vehicle has to offer without committing yourself to a large purchase.
It may be that you only need the use of a ute infrequently in which case renting is obviously more convenient than laying out a lot of money for something that might spend most of the time sitting idle. Although there is much information to be found on the internet and short test drives are available from dealers, there is no substitute for actually living with one, to be sure.
